Great African food, there is also ham noodles or French fries for the kids, great service, nice ambience, and not expensive: we love to come back here!

We were there on the weekend. Although everything was full we were served very friendly. The service was very helpful and all of the dishes were also offered vegetarian options, something you won't get anywhere else. Since almost all the guests came at the same time around lunchtime, a certain waiting time was unavoidable. The food was worth the wait, everything was delicious. We would love to come back with friends!

I was there today & unfortunately didn't like it at all. The waitress was quite incompetent and the food was relatively little and poor. Unfortunately we had to wait forever to get the menu, drinks, food, receipts etc. Not a good price-performance ratio. My partner had the chicken curry and it was really little and he wasn't fed up afterwards. I live vegan and have not had the opportunity to eat a complete meal. So I ordered the cassava fries without anything. Ketchup was only served in the bag. When we paid, the shock. 9 € for about 10 small cassava fries. I can't say whether they were TK too, but they tasted so good ... Very disappointing. Not again.

Nice beer garden, food was really tasty, but well seasoned

Nice little restaurant with a cozy beer garden. We had used a hike on the Felsenmeer and Ada's Buka for a short break. We ate some kind of spring rolls which were delicious! The restaurant is a bit out of the way, but we can recommend it!

The Samosas were delicious, this restaurant is a must if you are in the mood for an African culture cuisine. Truly enjoyed the plantai chips as well. Ensure to call ahead to check if they are open. Please be patient during these Corona times, since service will be slower than usual. Also keep in mind to wait to be seated, don't assume the tables have been cleaned and just sit yourselves down, all you will do is increase the wait time for everyone else. Bring some wasp deterrent, they are everywhere. Will definitely return and eat here more often.

Nothing special. The beef ragout was dry and a little bit. My wife had the filled dumplings, they were pretty good. Apparently there is another card for inside which I do not understand. Why do you do something like that?

African restaurant in the mountains. Free Felsenmeer parking right in front of you. €1 for toilet only. The dishes weren't very African but they were all delicious. A very good place to rest after visiting Felsenmeer.

Spent spontaneously in the restaurant after visiting the Felsenmeer. The food was excellent and the wheat beer too. The portions could have been a little bigger. Still a great restaurant.

Not getting give stars because the young waitress took forever to get our orders and bring the bill and also tried to charge more from two people of our table.. she gave 10 euros less of the change :(

Interesting dishes on the menu. The sauce was a bit spicy. A hint on the menu would be good. Drink prices are lifted. Friendly and fast service. Beer garden available. Large parking lot nearby and excursion to the Felsenmeer.

The main courses (beef ragout and antelope bratwurst) were delicious. One can do without the cake, which was still half frozen and tasted like a baking mix.

A novel experience to discover an authentic African restaurant in the Odenwald. It is closed in the winter season. They have a nice selection of main meals and entrees. Prices are reasonable.

First African resturant that I have ever visited. It is very beautifully decorated with paintings and batik fabric all over. Very tastefully arranged with a large seating area outside as well as inside the premise. The location of the restuarant is at the summit of Felseenmeer and also a huge parking area. If one seats outside or near a huge window he/ she can enjoy the sights of the neighboring hills. The staff is well natured and helpful. The food was new for me but it is portion sized.

Nice african food

Nice place with outdoor seats for those who like to enjoy the sunlight. The tables inside also have wonderful views. Foods are great, especially the "Dodo" (fried banana slices with cucumber and carrot in spicy tomato sauce).

Very nice food in a fresh atmosphere. A good place to stop during a hike to relax and have a nice warm and slightly spicy meal.
